Common questions
Do I have to pay upfront?
No. You can pay lesson by lesson. Packages are available if you want to spread the cost or get a lower hourly rate, but they are entirely optional.
What is included in the hourly price?
Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off within our coverage area, use of a dual-controlled car, and free access to our online theory and hazard perception platform. There are no hidden extras.
How many lessons will I need?
The DVSA suggests most learners need around 45 hours of professional tuition plus 22 hours of private practice, though this varies a lot. Your instructor will give you an honest estimate after your first couple of lessons.
Do you charge extra for test day?
Test day car hire is charged as a lesson block, which covers a warm-up drive before the test and the use of the car for the test itself. Ask your instructor for the exact rate.
How long do packages last?
Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused hours after that point expire, so only buy what you expect to use in that window.
What is your cancellation policy?
Give us at least 48 hours notice and you can rearrange free of charge. Less than 48 hours and the lesson may be charged, because your instructor has held that slot for you.
